WASP has been employed by Silverdell UK Ltd. on a number of prestigious contracts spanning the last 8 years (2003-2011).
Most significantly, WASP were employed to undertake one of the biggest asbestos removal jobs (Shell Tower) that the UK has seen. This project was extremely complex and challenging with regards to programme and the demands of a client whose focus towards Health & Safety is second to none. WASP were heavily instrumental in the delivery of this, their technical knowledge in the use of grit blasting (Quill Falcon & Torbo) was paramount and his ability to liaise with the client and the site operatives are what made the completion (within programme) of this poject an extremely successful venture.
WASP have also been a part of the project team in delivering successful asbestos removal operations at other sites including BT Tunnels, HMS Belfast and Royal Festival Hall to name but a few.
WASP’s focus towards completing a job safely, in programm and within the budget, his attention to detail, communication and people skills and innovative ideas will undoubtedly stand him in good stead with any of his future projects and I sincerely believe he is one of the most capable project delivery managers that the UK asbestos industry has had the benefit of engaging.
We wish him continued success and would undoubdtedly re-employ should he find himself back in the UK in the future.

What would have taken many days of intensive labour to remove with 8 men with a questionable result and finish was achieved in several hours over one shift with two men achieving outstanding results and a clean substrate ready for visual inspection. Works were completed with all regulatory air-monitoring returning the same satisfactory results as using conventional cleaning methods.
WASP’s professionalism and knowledge of wet abrasive sand blasting systems and their use within this sensitive environment saved us substantial amounts of time and associated labour costs on this contract and we would not hesitate to use their services again or recommend them to anyone requiring a safe, fast and efficient abrasive blasting contractor.Colin Abbott

Using WASP has allowed us to safely, economically and within tight program time frames in both instances complete hazmat material removal, that would have been extremely difficult to complete otherwise and the expertise, professionalism and work ethic shown by WASPs employees on site was above and beyond the norm in our industry.
We will definitely be using WASP again in the future, and would not hesitate to recommend WASP to any organisation or individual requiring the services they provide.

WASP undertook lead paint removal works at our Brunswick Baths redevelopment project in July 2012. Paint was removed from the existing timber-lined ceiling over a swimming pool.
At all times, WASP undertook works in a professional manner, and complied with all recommendations established by the hygienist. The job required an element of flexibility from the contractor, and WASP were happy to work in with site conditions and available working hours.
We would have no hesitation in having WASP complete works on any future Kane projects, or in recmmending them to other potential contractors or clients.
Kane Constructions Pty Ltd
The knowledge of the works, approach to safety and ability to achieve programme were commendable and made the lead paint removal works straightfoward to manage. The minimal variatons discussed were also an indication that appropriate thought and preparation had gone into the quote and planning of the works.
Further, the co-ordination with on site consultants and our supervision was well-managed and professional.
Thank you again Toby, and I would have no hesitation recommending WASP for further works of this nature.
